We are looking for a Group Senior Clerk to lead our Civil clerking team across all five sites but based primarily in Manchester. The team, which is a flagship department at SJB with an excellent national reputation, encompasses Personal Injury, Employment & Commercial practice with 85 member practitioners.
The ideal candidate will be a substantially experienced clerk operating at a senior level, with wide and detailed market knowledge and proficient in: business development, team leadership and management, strategic planning and implementation, building and retaining good client relationships, marketing, winning and maintaining block contract work. Previous detailed experience of diary and practice management and negotiating fees within defined systems and procedures is essential.
