  • Where: The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester
  • Summary: This event is aimed at Barristers, Solicitors, Law Students and other professionals engaged with the Inquest process.
  • Details:

A Guide to Inquests – 10 years since the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 received Royal Assent, the most comprehensive change in years in which the legislative structure of Inquests was radically changed, placing families at the very centre of the process. But what is an Inquest and how do we ensure that the process serves Bereaved families in the way the reforms intended.

This event is aimed at Barristers, Solicitors, Law Students and other professionals engaged with the Inquest process. The day is aimed at providing a complete overview and insight into Inquests and the Laws the govern them whilst giving practitioners helpful tips to better their representation of clients throughout an Inquest. There will also be a helpful insight from the Police to help bridge the gap between law enforcement and the Inquest process.
