Essentials of International Planning and Succession

  • When: October 17, 2019 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Where: The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester
  • Summary: “Arguing against globalisation is like arguing against the laws of gravity” Kofi Annan
  • Details:

Globalisation has greatly complicated the work of private client lawyers who increasingly find themselves tangling with cross border issues.  A consideration of the complexities arising out of cross border succession can be an intellectually rewarding pursuit in its own right.

On a more practical level, private client lawyers who can demonstrate knowledge and experience of cross-border issues will be the most likely to attract high value cross-border work, and (more importantly) will be able to carry out the necessary work with confidence.

This conference will enhance the knowledge of junior lawyers and experienced practitioners alike, who do not currently routinely advise on cross-border issues.
