    About our speakers

    Shamus Rae is Head of Digital Disruption at KPMG covering everything from advanced robotics all the way through to Cognitive Computing. With the emergence of advanced automation, he is responsible for KPMG’s innovation programme across all services and specifically focusing on cognitive computing/artificial intelligence and Digital Labour.

    Shamus has over 25 years’ experience in Back Office transformation cross-industry and a broad in-field knowledge of undertaking Operational Strategy work for various global clients, from Investment Banks through to major Leisure companies. In 1993 he disrupted the BPO industry by building the first multi-function, multi-client BPO business. He then went on to build IBM’s first BPO operation in India and followed that by building dozens of Shared Service Centres around the world, delivering Banking Operations, Insurance Claims, Finance, HR, Procurement and Call Centre services to clients globally.

    Aaron Stowell is a Director of KPMG’s Forensic Technology practice. The team specialises in identifying, analysing and providing data insight for litigation, competition and regulatory enquiries across and range of sectors and in multiple jurisdictions worldwide. Our focus is on leveraging cutting edge technology to achieve the best outcomes, customised solutions using automation, machine learning and deep subject matter expertise.

    Aaron has specialised in advanced technology for the last fourteen years, for some of the largest and most complex investigations, and has provided high profile digital forensic expert evidence in both UK and US courts along with being a contributing author in two industry books.
