  • Summary: We are delighted that the next Dinner Club will take place at Salvi’s – the home of traditional, authentic Italian cuisine. Salvis, named after the owner (Maurizio’s) father and inspired by his mother’s kitchen back home in Naples is a family run establishment and their passion for the produce of their home region of Campania in Italy is behind everything that they do.

All their ingredients are sourced directly from their own, personally selected suppliers back in Naples, Sorrento and beyond and they think that their products are the best that you won’t find them on the menu anywhere else in Manchester. They use traditional preparation methods and hand make all their pasta and much of their own bread, fresh every morning. Many of their recipes come from Maurizio’s mother’s kitchen and she visit’s Manchester on a regular basis to check up on things!

Salvis food is traditional, Neapolitan where the very best ingredients are allowed to shine with simple but beautiful recipes, all served with a warm and welcoming service. Maurizio believes that when you are in his restaurant you are in his home, so you should relax and enjoy your experience.

Feedback from Professionals’ Dinner Club guests;-

“Quite apart from the fact that the dinners are at really interesting places that I wouldn’t ordinarily go to and they are very sociable and enjoyable events, I found myself in the office last week with the Management of an organisation that I very much wanted to get to know. This hugely important meeting for me flowed directly from my having sat next to someone from that firm at the Dinner Club. The chat over dinner was great and informal, and the whole atmosphere seemed to encourage people to explore how they could help each other. Hopefully I did my bit for people round the table too. Great stuff Manchester Law Society, so thank you.”

Simon McCrum, Managing Director, McCrum & Co

“It has always been a pleasure to attend the Professionals’ Dinner Club spanning a number of years for me. It is always great to meet new people on your table. The enjoyment comes from the atmosphere, the people, the food – well everything! It is such a delight that we come back time after time. The feedback from all our guests is always positive. Everyone has expressed that they had so much fun and that the food and venues have always been superb. One of the best, if not the best, networking event for professionals in Manchester.”
