POLICE CYBER ALARM – UK CYBER DEFENCE NETWORK – WOULD YOUR FIRM LIKE TO BE INVOLVED?

  • 02/10/2020

You may have seen in the press that the police are piloting a new FREE to use cyber tool called Police CyberAlarm.

It acts as an alert system by monitoring the traffic seen by an organisation’s connection over the internet.  It will detect and provide regular reports of suspected malicious activity, enabling organisations to minimise their vulnerabilities and protect themselves.

Available to small businesses, charities, academia, local authorities/councils and law enforcement so they get up-to-date knowledge of attack types and trends, which is an absolute key to having a robust defence.

Members of Police CyberAlarm become part of the wider UK cyber defence network, sharing collated data with Police for analysis at local, regional and national levels to identify trends, react to emerging threats and identify, pursue and prosecute cyber criminals.

The only requirement is that your organisation has a static IP Address.

Organisations can sign up for a membership of the pilot which runs until 31st March 2021.
