Lunchtime training seminar

This lunchtime training seminar will be of interest to local authority lawyers, barristers, solicitors & professionals involved in proceedings within the Family Justice System. It will cover how practitioners can engage, both in terms of assisting their clients but also by becoming involved in pro-bono activity.

Presentation by Georgia Griffiths & Riana Goldman

Georgia Griffiths is the Assistant Manager of the Personal Support Unit in the North West. After completing a Law undergraduate degree and Masters in Human Rights, Globalisation and Justice at Keele University, she went on to complete the BPTC at MMU in 2016. Thereafter, she has begun to build a career dedicated to supporting litigants-in-person and advocating pro-bono services.

Riana Goldman is the Pro-bono Coordinator for Manchester Free Legal Help, part of the University of Manchester. After completing her undergraduate law and politics degree at Manchester University, she has begun to forge a career in the legal advice sector, promoting access to justice.
