A message from the Delivery Director HMCTS North West Region
The way we deliver Justice is being transformed. Among the senior judiciary, the Government and HM Courts and Tribunals Service, there is a strong consensus for change. Added to that, HM Treasury has granted the necessary funding of nearly £1 billion.
Over the last year we have begun to see the changes being introduced by HM Courts and Tribunals Service reform, such as the digital case file in the Crown Court, case officers in the tribunals and the single justice procedure in the magistrates’ court. In the civil, family and tribunals jurisdictions we are designing a new digital method of working.
HERE is a document outlining the aspirations, breadth and impact of reform, to set out what we are trying to achieve and to give some examples of changes in development.
