‘Women in the Law’

Manchester 26th March 2015

On Thursday, 26th March 2015, the United Kingdom Association of Women Judges (UKAWJ) is joining once again with the Association of Women Barristers (AWB) and the Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) in Manchester to hold a dinner at the Midland Hotel. The dinner is open to all members of the 3 Associations and their guests. You are particularly encouraged to take this opportunity to introduce new members to your Association.

We are especially delighted that Mrs Justice Cox, DBE, has accepted our invitation to speak at the dinner. She will be introduced by Baroness Hale of Richmond.

We hope that the dinner will provide an opportunity for members of the legal profession to meet others who share common interests. Above all, this will be a convivial occasion!

There will be a Raffle to raise money for our chosen charities, with some wonderful prizes so please do remember to bring cash.

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment! The closing date for receipt of booking forms and cheques is Friday, 20th February 2015.

The price per person is £49 and we are indebted to Kings Chambers for their generous sponsorship of the pre-dinner drinks reception and the Northern Circuit who have kindly agreed to sponsor the wine with Dinner.  Booking forms are attached.
