The ANTZ Ball this year will be held at Marriott Worsley Park Hotel & Country Club on Friday 22nd September 2017.
ANTZ in partnership with their members and clients have had an incredible year, changing the lives of many, and continues to from strength to strength making a difference to so many more, and we are looking forward to celebrating our members and community and sharing the journey with you.
This year the theme is Passing the Baton to the Next Generation and Antz Junction are thrilled to have Commonwealth Games gold medallist Diane Modahl as our guest speaker. Diane and her team at DMSF have been changing lives of young people since 2010. The Diane Modahl Sports Foundation provides quality coaching, mentoring and support networks, promoting healthy lifestyles developing positive self-esteem, social integration to young people, particularly in disadvantaged areas of Greater Manchester. DMSF is in the unique position of having an Olympic coach as part of the coaching team. Vicente Modahl has an impressive background of coaching athletes to success in major Championships – he has coached 23 Olympians and is hopeful that the 24th will be in Tokyo 2020 and come from DMSF, home grown talent right here in our very own city. Without the support and belief from DMSF the future of many of these young people would have very different.
